DVM Pigments and Additives Company Profile
The company, based in Chorley, Lancashire, was started in 1993 by David Maltman. David has many years of technical and sales experience in pigments and polymer industries.
DVM Pigments and Additives has gone from strength to strength in achieving the company’s main aims of supplying quality products to the surface coatings industry.
Building on the this success, DVM has now branched out and found many other application areas for their key coloured dispersion products.

We will be opening a second factory in the Chorley area in October 2011.

Production Capacity
DVM use several pre-mixing vessels varying from 100 litres up to 1500 litres batch size.
Pigment grinding capacity has been increased with the introduction of more basket mills. These are in adddition to the range of horizontal bead mills that are in use.
This allows us to have dedicated lines for the different colour ranges.
Line 1 black dispersions
Line 2 blue/green
Line 3 yellow, reds and oranges
Line 4 white and paints
Line 5 biocide blending
In addition we have blending tanks with a capacity of 2000-2500 litre.
The plant is very flexible which gives the ability to have batch sizes varying from 100kg to 1500kg.
